School Pictures

I think school pictures are hilarious. My son's 3rd grade picture was no exception. He is not a "smile-on-command" type of guy, so we always get some goofy pictures. I'm not sure what this face is saying, but I think it's cute. We thought about retaking them, but decided, this is who he is. I used my fabulous September Scraptacular kit. The LEO challenge at Willow Traders was to scraplift from a gallery. I chose a LO by Cindy Stevens in the September Scrapbook Sussies gallery. It's called Concentration and is second from the bottom of the page. Thanks for looking.

  1. Cute picture, & great, clean layout! We have the same problem with portraits. I think it is real hard for children to smile on command. I wish the school portrait photographers would have some little tricks to make the kids get a little chuckle,...then SNAP at just the right moment. But, they don't care,...we are going to buy them anyway....

    Love the inking too!

  2. oh...i don't think it's that bad at all. but you know him better. this is why we don't do any school type photos. i would rather capture my kids as they are in my own camera. it's worked great for years.
your layout is bright and clean. nice job!

  3. It's not bad! But yeah... sometimes, getting a REAL picture (the school age attitude AT school)... is almost worth it.
